Budget Translator Handbook

Affordable WordPress website translation with local segment caching.

What it does

Budget Translator translates your site into another language using free or paid providers. Identical text passages are hashed and cached so they are never sent to the API twice.

Admin menu order:

  1. Bulk
  2. By post
  3. One by one
  4. Settings (last)

Quick start

  1. Install to wp-content/plugins/budget-translator and activate.
  2. Open Budget Translator → Settings, choose languages and provider.
  3. Optionally fill Do not translate / Glossary and exclusion rules.
  4. Click Translate website now.
  5. Visit /en/ (or your target language) on the frontend.
  6. Review with Bulk, By post, or One by one.
