Progress and Goals

Use Progress in the parent app to explore race history and saved goals. Swimmer history is available under History; its chart may have different controls.

Choose an event and course

Select an event and its course. Each course has a separate history and goals:

Course Pool type
SCY Short-course yards
SCM Short-course meters
LCM Long-course meters

Read the graph

Dates appear along the bottom and race times on the side. Faster times appear lower. A downward line means a time drop.

Swims appear in chronological order. Points are spaced by swim order rather than the exact number of days between races. Separate swims on the same day remain separate points.

The smaller chart keeps its familiar presentation. Open Full screen for the expanded parent graph.

Expanded graph

  • Choose Month, Season, Year or All to change the displayed history.
  • Month and Year cover the recent month or year. Season currently means January 1 of the current year onward, rather than a custom team season.
  • Tap a point or use Selected swim to choose a result.
  • Read the selected time, place, official/unofficial status and change from the previous matching swim.
  • Use Videos to open videos for that result.
  • If a personal goal is saved, use the Goal checkbox to show or hide it.
  • Choose Close to return.

Turn the phone sideways

In landscape, the expanded graph adds:

Control Action
+ / − Show fewer or more swims.
← / → Move toward earlier or later swims.
Reset Restore the full selected date range.

You can also drag horizontally or pinch to explore the date range in landscape. The vertical time scale remains steady during zooming so changes stay comparable.

Zoom and pan controls are available only when the phone is sideways. Portrait still allows date-range changes and swim selection. Empty ranges show a no-swims message; viewing the chart does not change saved results.

Set or edit a goal

  1. Select the swimmer.
  2. Open More → Goals.
  3. Choose Set goal, or edit an existing goal.
  4. Select the event and course.
  5. Enter the personal target and any standards offered in the form.
  6. Save.

Use seconds such as 39.35, or minutes and seconds such as 1:28.54. Check that any entered standards match the swimmer's event, course and age group. A saved goal only applies to its matching event and course.

If the graph looks wrong, check the saved event, course, date and time in Results. See Troubleshooting.
