Role Purpose

The Driver role executes physical pickups and deliveries through the mobile app while maintaining compliance, safety, cargo integrity, and proof workflows.

Core Responsibilities

• Complete pre-shift and vehicle safety checks.
• Execute assigned manifests in sequence.
• Perform item verification at pickup and drop-off.
• Capture proof, signatures, and payment events.
• Report exceptions, SOS events, and route deviations.

Operational Flow

1. Start shift, bind vehicle, and complete inspection.
2. Review manifest and navigate to each stop.
3. Verify cargo with scans and checklist workflows.
4. Collect POD and signatures at completion points.
5. Submit shift summary, vehicle return, and earnings actions.

Field Reliability Controls

• Geofence arrival and route progression prompts.
• Offline action queue with automatic sync.
• Audit trail for every shift action.
• Safety and compliance logging including HOS.

Driver Productivity Indicators

• On-time stop completion.
• Scan and POD completion accuracy.
• Exception frequency and resolution speed.
• Distance efficiency and shift utilization.
