v0.3.0-beta
Fluent Scrobbler — v0.3.0-beta Release Notes (2026-08-11)
Warning
This is a beta release and may be unstable. Users may encounter unexpected bugs or performance issues.
Fluent Scrobbler v0.3.0-beta introduces robust offline support, extended startup and system tray behaviors, and refined track metadata customization. This update ensures seamless scrobbling regardless of network stability while improving overall system startup integration and navigation speed.
New Features
- Offline Caching & Local Data Management: Introduced an essential offline caching engine that stores scrobbles locally during internet outages or Last.fm API downtime, submitting them automatically once connection is restored. Users can monitor their pending cache status or permanently clear locally stored scrobbles without sending them to Last.fm via the new Local Data settings.
- System & Behavior Module: Added dedicated startup options allowing users to launch Fluent Scrobbler automatically upon logging into Windows, as well as an option to start minimized in the system tray without opening the main application window.
- "Use Artist Only" Option: Added a metadata refinement setting that strips guest feature tags (such as feat., &, or part.) before submitting scrobbles, ensuring clean scrobble submissions strictly under the primary artist's name.
Enchantments
- Overall Loading & Performance Boost: Optimized general loading routines and system performance across the application to deliver faster responses and lower resource usage.
