Important Notice

By using 1flowbase—including, without limitation, obtaining its source code or installation package, or installing or using it—you are deemed to have voluntarily accepted all terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree with any term or cannot accurately understand its interpretation, please stop using it immediately.

This notice explains the relevant definitions, ownership of intellectual property, limits of liability, and dispute-resolution arrangements.

If commercial editions, commercial plugins, hosted services, or technical support are offered in the future, the applicable rights and obligations will be governed by the commercial agreement separately published or executed at that time.

The Company may establish or amend this Agreement from time to time as needed. Any amendment will be announced on the website without separate notice. The amended Agreement takes effect automatically upon publication and forms part of this Agreement.

1. Definitions

1.1 Software
The officially released 1flowbase core and plugins located in the same code repository as the core, including their source code, installation packages, images, updates, and upgrades.

1.2 Community Edition
The version of the Software provided free of charge to the public by the Company or the taichuy organization.

1.3 Commercial Edition
Software, plugins, hosted services, technical support, or other commercial benefits that may be separately provided in the future by the Company or an authorized entity and governed by a separate commercial agreement. The specific product form is determined by the content actually released.

1.4 Upper-Layer Application
A specific business-scenario application, such as ERP or CRM, developed on the basis of the Software and commercial plugins and serving an enterprise's internal users or external customers.

1.5 Customer
An entity that purchases an Upper-Layer Application from a User.

1.6 Third-Party Open-Source Software
Open-source software provided together with the Software and commercial plugins, governed by its respective open-source license or accompanying copyright notice.

2. Intellectual Property Protection

Except for Third-Party Open-Source Software, the Company owns all intellectual-property rights in the Software, including copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights, and trade secrets. These rights are protected by the relevant laws of the People’s Republic of China and international treaties, including the Paris Convention and the TRIPS Agreement.

The open-source license does not grant Users the right to use the 1flowbase trademark, trade name, or product identifiers in a manner that impersonates, misleads, or causes the public to believe that a related product or service is approved, sponsored, or endorsed by a Licensor. It does not, however, restrict reasonable and necessary descriptive use to identify the source of the Software.

3. Disclaimer

3.1 Users must not use the Software or commercial plugins to violate applicable laws or regulations or infringe the lawful rights and interests of third parties. Users are solely responsible for ensuring that their deployment method, data sources, business purposes, and services provided externally are lawful and compliant, and for any liability arising from unlawful or non-compliant use.

3.2 The Software is provided “AS IS.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Licensors are not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Software or commercial plugins, including lost profits, business interruption, loss of data, or disclosure of information, even if advised in advance of the possibility of such damages. This exclusion does not apply where applicable law expressly prohibits excluding or limiting liability.

4. License Type

4.1 The 1flowbase open-source license: https://github.com/taichuy/1flowbase/blob/main/LICENSE.

4.2 Users of the Community Edition have the rights to reproduce, use, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, sublicense, and distribute it, subject to the open-source license.

4.4 This notice does not itself release or deliver a Commercial Edition, commercial plugins, hosted services, or technical support. Their license scope, service content, fees, and limits of liability are governed by the separate commercial agreement applicable to the actual release.

5. Rights and Obligations Under the Open-Source License

5.1 Subject to compliance with the open-source license, the Community Edition may be used for personal, internal organizational, and commercial purposes.

5.2 When reproducing, modifying, or distributing the Community Edition or derivative works, Users must retain applicable copyright, patent, trademark, attribution, and NOTICE information as required by the open-source license, and clearly identify modified files.

5.3 Users must not impersonate an official identity, make false claims, infringe trademark rights, or use any other unlawful means to cause the public to believe that a modified version, hosted service, or derivative product is officially released, approved, sponsored, or warranted by a Licensor.

5.4 The Licensors reserve the right to pursue responsibility in accordance with law for infringement of intellectual property rights, impersonation of an official entity, unlawful use of the Software, or infringement of the lawful rights and interests of third parties.

6. Governing Law, Interpretation, and Dispute Resolution

6.1 The Chinese version of this Agreement applies to Users in mainland China, and the English version applies to Users in other regions. The interpretation and application of this Agreement, and all related matters, are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China.

6.2 Any dispute arising from this Agreement must first be resolved through friendly consultation. If consultation fails, the dispute must be submitted to the people’s court at the location of the Company.

6.3 All provisions of this Agreement are effective to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If any provision is held invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected. The invalid provision will be modified to the extent possible to make it valid; if modification is not possible, it will be deemed deleted from this Agreement.
