anti-hall makes Claude Code and Codex verify before they claim, with guardrail hooks and workflow skills, all answered by a Rust engine at its core. This wiki is for people who work on anti-hall: how it is built, why it is built that way, and how changes reach users.
Using anti-hall? You want the docs site instead: https://talas9.github.io/anti-hall/ (or the guide in the repository). For help, ask in Q&A.
Note
Contributors open pull requests against dev; main changes only through the release pull request from dev.
| Page | Read it when you want to know |
|---|---|
| Architecture | How a hook event travels from Claude Code or Codex through the thin trigger to the Rust engine (the core), and what the temporary Node fallback does |
| Engine internals | How the engine loads its config from the plugin, the no-hardcoding rule and its tests, the script sandbox, goldens and replay |
| Repo automation | Triage, moderation, PR check, privacy scan and the roadmap manager; the model chain |
| DevSwarm | The DevSwarm integration: mesh, roster, supervisor and ingest |
| Development workflow | Branches, testing, dogfooding, and how a change gets from your editor to dev
|
| Release runbook | A one-screen map of the plugin and engine release procedures |
| Decision log | The major design decisions: what, why and when |
| Glossary | The terms used across the code, the docs and this wiki |
Copy these when you write a new page:
- Template: Design note: problem, options, decision, consequences
- Template: Runbook: steps someone can follow without asking you
- Template: Decision: one row for the decision log
This wiki summarizes and links; it does not replace the files in the repository. When they disagree, the repository wins, and the wiki page should be fixed.
| File | What it covers |
|---|---|
| CONTRIBUTING.md | Project layout, tests, adding a guard, branches, commits |
| RELEASING.md | The plugin release checklist |
| AGENTS.md | The verify-first protocol in prose, and the dual-platform parity rule |
| docs/REPO-PIPELINES.md | CI workflows, policy files, rulesets |
| ah-engine/README.md | The Rust engine (on the engine-proto integration branch) |
Day-to-day work happens on dev; the engine is developed on engine-proto and merged into dev. Pages link to the branch where the file lives.
Anyone with write access can edit in the browser or clone https://github.com/talas9/anti-hall.wiki.git. Keep it public-safe: no private paths, emails, or names of people or projects other than the author credit. Verify each claim against the code before you write it, and cite the file.
