  • Remove unused purgecss
  • Remove popper peerDependency - this is a peer already required by bootstrap itself and the version used here is the wrong major version!
  • Removes husky.config.js as it's superseded by the .husky directory
  • Removes lint-staged as it's not used by husky due to bad config, so isn't used at all
  • Removes prettier as it's not used at all

Before you start to use tools that remove Bootstrap styling like [PurgeCSS](#purgecss), you can make some broad optimizations by only including the stylesheets you think you'll need.

This file is superseded by the .husky directory, so is actually ignored... meaning lint-staged is unused.

This popper version is incorrect - bootstrap@5 uses popper@2, and has its own peer dependency for it.

You can tell it's not used:

  1. it targets non-existent JS files
  2. It uses eslint, which is not installed

This is a downstream dependency for consuming apps - and they should not be pinned to 5.2.2 because they can use other 5.2 versions, and already are.
