This release adds configurable Month and Week calendars, Day Planner and Weekly Review navigation, a weekly planning dashboard, improved date and time controls, redesigned PARA project overviews, persistent project ordering in both panes, direct Area assignment and creation, improved file permissions, startup loading feedback, and updated documentation. It also includes the latest Supernote plugin SDK compatibility work. Earlier system versions cannot open this release.

External task synchronization improvements

• Choose a VTODO list when a CalDAV account exposes multiple task collections.
• Existing device-only tasks stay private unless Upload Existing Device Tasks is explicitly selected.
• Pause task synchronization without removing the account, local task copies, or pending changes.
• Remove a task account while choosing whether to keep or clear its local synchronized copies; remote server tasks are never deleted by account removal.
• Preserve each synchronized task’s source account and collection to prevent accidental cross-provider uploads.
• Queue deletions made while the owning account is paused and apply them when that same account resumes.
• Improve reconnect, duplicate-prevention, and task cleanup behavior.
• Expand calendar connection and troubleshooting documentation.

Tasks remain device-only by default. External VTODO synchronization is optional and requires a compatible CalDAV task provider.

What changed

• Added a compact two-column Calendars & Sync layout.
• Added direct removal for imported and subscribed calendars. Removal affects only SNFolio; source calendars and setup files remain unchanged.
• Setup text files are now read only when explicitly imported, preventing removed calendars from returning automatically.
• Prevented task events mirrored to Apple Calendar from returning to SNFolio as duplicate calendar events after reinstall or reload.
• Improved programmatic clearing of handwriting-optimized text fields.

Compass is now SNFolio. This release changes the public name, toolbar label, documentation, package filename, and new PARA folder defaults while preserving the existing plugin ID and storage identity.\n\nExisting Compass users can install SNFolio as an update. Compass v0.1.1 (Build 27)

Highlights

• Event notes now create and open directly with the configured template, without an automatic calendar header.
• Handwriting entry is more responsive across Compass text fields by keeping live composition in the native input.
• Tasks assigned directly to an Area now appear under PARA → Areas → Area Tasks.
• Project-assigned tasks remain with their Projects and are not duplicated in Area Tasks.

Verification

Validated on a Supernote device for event-note creation, handwriting entry, direct Area tasks, Project tasks, recurring events, calendar synchronization, editing, and deletion. All 450 automated tests and package validation passed.

Known issue: Creating an event note can create the .note file but fail to write its snapshot header. This build has been superseded by the build-23 fix currently undergoing device verification.

Install

1. Download Compass.snplg below.
2. Copy it to the Supernote MyStyle folder.
3. On the device, open Settings → Apps → Plugins → Add Plugin.
4. Select Compass.snplg.

Google iCal subscriptions are read-only. iCloud CalDAV supports editable calendar events, but modern Apple Reminders does not expose its lists through iCloud CalDAV; see the Calendar Connections guide in the repository for options.
