Global compilerOptions.runes: true also forces runes on node_modules components (e.g. @storybook/addon-svelte-csf's LegacyTemplate.svelte), breaking the Storybook build. Use a function-valued runes option to force runes only for non-node_modules files while letting dependencies auto-detect.

Makes Svelte 5 runes the project-wide default.
svelte.config.js: force runes mode for first-party files via a function-valuedcompilerOptions.runes—({ filename }) => filename.includes('node_modules') ? undefined : true. Legacy syntax (export let,$:,$$props/$$restProps,<slot>) in our code becomes a compile error, guarding against new legacy code, whilenode_modulescomponents (e.g. Storybook'sLegacyTemplate.svelte) keep auto-detecting so the Vite/Storybook build doesn't break.<svelte:options runes />(81 files) — the global default replaces them.Runes mode errors on any remaining legacy first-party component, so this could only go green once every migration PR was merged: paginated-table #3750, toast #3753, pages #3768,
on:sweep #3771, and the other runes-migration PRs.Validation note
