Location Spoofer puts your Android phone anywhere on the map — from the phone or from your Windows PC — using Android's official mock location API. No root.

What's new

Built-in updater. Open More options (⋮) › Check for updates. If a newer release exists, the app shows the version and download size, fetches the APK and hands it straight to Android's installer — no more downloading APKs by hand.

• Android asks you once to allow Location Spoofer to install apps. The dialog links straight to that settings screen.
• The first update goes through Android's confirmation screen. After that, Location Spoofer becomes the recorded installer of the app, which lets Android apply later updates without asking.

Support development ☕ now sits in the same menu and opens my Buy Me a Coffee page.

The Windows controller is unchanged in this release apart from its version number.

Upgrading from 1.1.0 or 1.0.0

Install this APK over your existing one. It is signed with the same key, so your favorites and settings survive. From this version onwards the in-app updater takes over.

Setting up for the first time

1. Install the APK on your phone.
2. Either click Prepare device in the Windows controller (with USB debugging on), or on the phone: Settings › About phone › tap Build number 7 times, then Developer options › Select mock location app › Location Spoofer.
3. Pick a point or route and press Start spoofing. Press Stop, in either app or in the phone's notification, to get your real location back.

Good to know

• Windows won't start the exe? Right-click the downloaded zip › Properties › tick Unblock, then extract it again.
• The Windows controller needs adb (Android platform-tools) and the WebView2 Runtime, which is built into Windows 11.
• The APK is debug-signed for sideloading. From 30 September 2026, phones in Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand only install apps from unregistered developers through Android's advanced install flow or adb install.
• Apps can detect mocked locations, and some reject them. Please use Location Spoofer for testing, not to deceive other people or services.
• Windows and iPhone themselves can't be spoofed: neither has a mock location API.

Put your Android phone anywhere on the map — now from your PC too

Location Spoofer sets your phone's GPS position to any point on Earth, or moves it along a route at a realistic speed. It uses Android's official mock location API — no root, no hacks — and is built for testing location-based apps, geofences and navigation flows without leaving your desk.

Version 1.1.0 adds a Windows controller: plan points and routes on a big map, set up a phone in one click, and drive Android emulators directly.

What's new

Windows controller (.NET 10, WPF + WebView2)

• Prepare device does the whole Developer-options setup over adb: it makes Location Spoofer the mock location app and grants its location and notification permissions.
• Install APK… sideloads the app onto the selected phone.
• Draw a fixed point or a multi-stop route on the map, choose a speed (walk, run, bike, car or custom) and loop it if you like. The phone runs the simulation itself.
• Android emulators need no app at all: the PC walks them along the route once per second with adb emu geo fix.
• Place search, coordinate paste, and a log of every adb command it runs.

Android app

• Accepts start and stop commands over adb, which is how the controller drives it. You can script it yourself too:

The first release of Location Spoofer

An Android app that sets your phone's GPS position to any point on the map, or moves it along a route at a realistic speed. It uses Android's official mock location API — no root needed — and is built for testing location-based apps, geofences and navigation without leaving your desk.

What it does

• Fixed point: tap the map, search for a place, paste coordinates like 48.85837, 2.29448, or pick a favorite.
• Route simulation: tap waypoints and move along them at 1–150 km/h, optionally looping, with realistic bearing and speed.
• Covers the whole location stack: the platform GPS, network and fused providers, plus Google Play services, which is what Google Maps and most apps read.
• Runs in the background as a foreground service, with a Stop button in the notification.
• Change the point, speed or accuracy while it's running.

Install

1. Download LocationSpoofer-v1.0.0-debug.apk below and open it on your phone (allow installs from unknown sources).
2. Turn on Developer options: Settings › About phone › tap Build number 7 times.
3. Developer options › Select mock location app › Location Spoofer.
4. Open the app and allow location access. The in-app setup card links to each step.

Requires Android 8.0 or newer.
