The Droid Status page gives you a live snapshot of what's connected and what the droid is doing. It updates automatically every two seconds.
Shows whether each wireless controller is currently connected:
| Indicator | What it shows |
|---|---|
| XBee Drive | Whether the drive XBee Pocket Controller is connected |
| XBee Dome | Whether the dome XBee Pocket Controller is connected |
| Bluetooth | Whether a Bluetooth gamepad is connected |
Each indicator shows CONNECTED (green) or OFFLINE (red).
If you're running the RoboClaw encoder dome drive and the dome has been homed, this section shows:
- Current angle — the dome's present heading in degrees
- Homed — whether the home reference has been established this boot
If the dome has not yet been homed, this shows Not homed.
The lower section of the page shows the live state of all digital I/O pins on the Amidala PCB:
- Digital output pins (DOUT1–4) — HIGH or LOW
- Analog input values (A1, A2)
- Hall sensor state (for dome homing)
This is useful for verifying wiring and checking that sensors are responding as expected.
