Parent Company

rinrin1513 edited this page Oct 27, 2025 · 2 revisions

A parent company controls the management and operation of another company, due to owning a majority of its stocks. This information can be found from interviews or news about the company, as well as from an 'About'-page on a company's website.

This is only relevant if the studio is a subsidiary or similar of another company.

For example, such as Nintendo of Korea being a subsidiary of the parent company Nintendo.
