Player Controls and Playlist
| Action | Default shortcut |
|---|---|
| Open or close the radio panel | M |
| Play the next track | N |
| Select the next station | Ctrl+N |
Shortcuts do not run while another UI control has keyboard focus or while the game forces a pause menu.
Use these controls on the game's radio panel:
- The playlist button shows or hides the playlist.
- The next-track button skips the active content.
- The optional folder button opens the definition directory associated with the active custom station. The built-in CSLMusic Mix currently uses the game content directory as its definition directory.
Enable the folder button under the mod's User Interface settings.
The playlist shows content from the active station's schedule. It includes music, blurbs, talks, commercials, and broadcasts when the schedule uses those types.
You can:
- click an enabled entry to play it;
- filter entries by display name;
- sort names in ascending or descending order;
- change music volume;
- view progress for the active track;
- skip to the next track;
- drag the panel by its header to move it.
Sorting changes the list display. It does not rewrite the station schedule or set a playback order.
With both Content can be disabled and Checkboxes to disable content enabled, each entry has a checkbox icon on its left edge. Click the icon to change the entry's state. Click the rest of an enabled row to play it.
With the checkbox UI off, double-click an entry to enable or disable it. The mod stores disabled entries in CSLMusicMod.json and skips them when Content can be disabled is on.
Use Reset disabled contents in the Content tab to clear the saved list.
- Hiding the playlist leaves the station and its tracks active.
- Disabling a track keeps it in the list but prevents playback.
- Disabling a vanilla station under Channels removes that station from the radio selector after you leave the tab.
Turning off Enable playlist hides the custom playlist. The game's radio panel and playback keep working. If you loaded the city with this option off, turn it on and restart the game so the mod creates the UI controller.
