CSL Music Mod Revisited stores its settings in CSLMusicMod.json in the Cities: Skylines installation directory.

Channels

Manage vanilla channels

The Channels tab lists each installed vanilla station with a checkbox. Clear a checkbox to remove that station from the radio selector. The mod applies your changes when you leave the tab.

Music packs

Setting Default Restart? Effect
Use music from music packs On Yes Exposes music-pack content and stations in the radio selector. The current loader still reads enabled pack directories while it initializes.
Create channels from unused music files On Yes Creates User Defined for loose local files and, when music-pack use is enabled, a fallback station for each music pack's root files.

Channel with all contents

Setting Default Restart? Effect
Create "CSLMusic Mix" channel On Yes Creates one station from eligible collections.
Include vanilla songs On Yes Adds vanilla content collections to CSLMusic Mix. In the current implementation, this option also gates extending vanilla stations with custom content.
Include music On Yes Allows Music states in CSLMusic Mix.
Include blurbs Off Yes Allows Blurb states in CSLMusic Mix.
Include talks Off Yes Allows Talk states in CSLMusic Mix.
Include commercials Off Yes Allows Commercial states in CSLMusic Mix.
Include broadcasts Off Yes Allows Broadcast states in CSLMusic Mix.

Content

Additional features

Setting Default Restart? Effect
Content can be disabled On No Makes the saved disabled-content list affect playback.
Context-sensitive content On No Applies station context rules. The watcher checks active content on a timer.
Smooth transitions On No Uses the smooth next-track path when the mod skips disallowed content.
Extend vanilla stations with custom content On Yes Adds matching custom files from vanilla radio content folders to vanilla stations, provided Include vanilla songs is also enabled.
Reset disabled contents N/A No Clears and saves the disabled-content list.

Radio station content

These load-time switches remove matching schedule states from each station:

Setting Default
Enable music On
Enable blurbs On
Enable talks On
Enable commercials On
Enable broadcasts On

Restart the game after a change. For custom stations, the loader removes a station only when it has no loaded content or its schedule becomes empty. It does not validate that every schedule state has matching content; when a requested type is unavailable, the game-side patch may fall back to another content type.

Shortcuts

Setting Default
Open playlist and settings M
Next track N
Next station Ctrl+N

Use the game's keybinding control to change a shortcut. Press Backspace to clear one.

User Interface

Setting Default Restart? Effect
Enable playlist On Conditional Hides an existing playlist when turned off. If you loaded the city with this option off, turn it on and restart so the mod creates the UI controller.
Improved radio station selection On Yes Shows station names in the expanded station list.
Open station directory button Off No Shows a folder button on the radio panel.
Checkboxes to disable content On No Uses checkbox icons; turning it off switches disabling to double-click.

The mod saves the playlist panel position when the panel closes.

Changes that require a restart

Restart the game after you change music files, station JSON, music-pack scanning, fallback station creation, mix composition, vanilla-station extension, global content types, or improved station selection. The mod builds those definitions when it initializes; loading another city does not rebuild them.
