v0.3.4
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PC, v0.3.4 (unofficial port)
Download ucndc_pc-v0.3.4-windows.zip, extract it, open Uncharted Launcher.exe, pick the folder of your own PS4 dump (CUSA02344) and its 01.02 update, and click PLAY. When updating, keep your user folder: it holds your saves.
Uncharted 3 is now playable from start to finish (played through on the port). One crash in the whole game, not yet reproduced. Some parts drop below 60 FPS, always staying above 30.
What's new
- 1440p and 4K in UC1, UC2 and UC3: new Resolution option in the launcher's Options (1080p, 1440p, 4K). Intro videos display correctly at every resolution. Tested in short sessions, not a full playthrough yet.
- UC3: walls, shadows and lights no longer flicker. Shadow-map arrays rebuilt by the texture cache were losing their pending clear, so the next shadow was drawn over stale depth (on by default in UC3).
- UC3: light-cone fog without black wedges.
- UC3: Drake's scarf in the desert no longer jumps (the side readback queue is now off for UC3).
- Launcher: Options > Advanced is split into Performance and Fixes, and remembers whether it was open.
Known issues
- 1440p/4K are new and only tested in short sessions. If something looks wrong, go back to 1080p.
- UC2 train prologue: you may need to jump earlier than on PS4. If the carriage still falls, turn off
UC_HLE_INORDERandUC_ACB_DISPATCH_PIPEin Options > Advanced for that part. - Rare GPU driver timeout: the game can close when it moves a very large block of memory in one frame.
- UC1 and UC2 are lightly tested. Report problems with your
user\last_run.log.
No game files are included: use a dump of your own PS4. Details and credits are in the README.
v0.3.3
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PC, v0.3.3 (unofficial port)
Download ucndc_pc-v0.3.3-windows.zip, extract it, open Uncharted Launcher.exe, pick the folder of your own PS4 dump (CUSA02344) and its 01.02 update, and click PLAY. When updating, keep your user folder: it holds your saves.
What's new
- UC3: washed-out image fixed. Bloom and distortion targets drawn into a mip of a larger image were being rejected, which added a grey haze to the whole picture (
UC_MIP_FIX, on by default in UC3). - UC3: mouse while climbing and hanging. The mouse now aims when Drake is hanging or climbing, and no longer turns itself off for the rest of the session after the camera tilts (
UC_MOUSE_EDGE_AIM, on by default in UC3). - Experimental option (off by default):
UC_PREP_TRUST_A1, a faster way to prepare draws, about +5 FPS in the desert ruins. Find it under Options > Advanced > Experimental. - Stability: fixed a race between two GPU threads in the ring-copy dedup, and
stale_readbacknow defaults to 0 everywhere. - Controller: L2/R2 stay held while L3+R3 opens the menu.
- Launcher: links point to the new repository name,
zorde23/Uncharted_Collection_PC, and the new-version notice is more reliable.
Known issues
- UC2 train prologue: you may need to jump earlier than on PS4. If the carriage still falls, turn off
UC_HLE_INORDERandUC_ACB_DISPATCH_PIPEin Options > Advanced for that part. - Rare GPU driver timeout: the game can close when it moves a very large block of memory in one frame.
- Flickering: some walls and some lighting can briefly flicker dark as the camera moves.
- UC1 and UC2 are lightly tested. Report problems with your
user\last_run.log.
No game files are included: use a dump of your own PS4. Details and credits are in the README.

- Controls window in the launcher and a Controls tab in the in-game menu: mouse look on/off, sensitivity, a separate multiplier while aiming, and any key or controller button can be changed.

- F1 now also opens the port menu (besides Insert and L2+R2+L3+R3).
- The launcher tells you when a new version is out, with a button to the download page. It can be turned off in Options.
Known issues (same as 0.3.1)
- UC2 train prologue: you may need to jump earlier than on PS4.
- UC3 desert ruins at night run at about 35 to 38 FPS.
- UC1 and UC2 are lightly tested. Report problems with your
user\last_run.log.
No game files are included: use a dump of your own PS4. Details and credits are in the README.
v0.3.1
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection for PC, v0.3.1 (unofficial port)
Download ucndc_pc-v0.3.1-windows.zip, extract it, open Uncharted Launcher.exe, pick the folder of your own PS4 dump (CUSA02344) and its 01.02 update, and click PLAY. Nothing to install, no terminal. When updating from 0.3, keep your user folder: it holds your saves.
What's new
- Faster rendering: GPU state tracking was rewritten. UC3's castle vegetation went from 42 to about 50 FPS, with no visual differences (checked over tens of millions of draws in all three games).
- UC3, less CPU (new option): Naughty Dog's six job threads spun non-stop during gameplay.
UC_JOB_SPIN=100+UC_JOB_SLEEP=1make them spin less and sleep, so CPU use drops from about 66% to about 50% at the same frame rate. - UC3, cave torch: the torch light is no longer dark (
UC_SYNC_SMALL_TARGETS). - UC2: the rooftop chase now runs at 58 to 60 FPS (
UC_HLE_INORDER+UC_ACB_DISPATCH_PIPE). - The controller shortcut for the port menu is now L2+R2+L3+R3 (R3+L2 was the weapon zoom). Insert on the keyboard is unchanged.
- Launcher: recognizes a game folder with the 01.02 update already merged in and no longer warns about a missing update.
- All of these are on by default, and each can be turned off in Options > Advanced.
Seen once after about 30 minutes of play.
- Flickering: some walls and some lighting can briefly flicker dark as the camera moves.
- UC3 desert ruins at night run at about 35 to 38 FPS.
- UC1 and UC2 are lightly tested. Report problems with your
user\last_run.log.
No game files are included: use a dump of your own PS4. Details and credits are in the README.
