What It Does

x3utils:

1. dumps the current VCU firmware;
2. saves a backup;
3. applies a compatibility patch;
4. validates the patched file;
5. flashes it back;
6. verifies the result.

What It Is For

This is used for SHU-compatible workflows such as flashing from repo or changing serial.

Use at your own risk.

What Not To Do

Do not use this as a first connection test.

Run a normal full dump first and confirm your ST-LINK connection is stable.
