No. NetWatch displays metadata and searches the Prowlarr indexers configured by the user.
Yes. It is NetWatch's indexer interface. Configure and test at least one indexer in Prowlarr.
Yes. NetWatch requires a compatible full-tunnel WireGuard configuration for its managed backend network. A Windows host VPN is optional.
TMDB and Prowlarr are required. OpenSubtitles and SubDL are optional. Check the current requirements for accepted key formats.
No. The Android app is a LAN companion. The paired PC performs metadata lookup, release discovery, torrent streaming, VPN routing, subtitle lookup, and Keep Watching storage.
NetWatch Remote Access is designed for a reachable private LAN. It is not an Internet-facing relay or cloud service.
The devices may be on different networks, guest Wi-Fi may isolate clients, the wrong PC interface may be selected, or a firewall may block the configured port. See Pairing and Remote Access.
Pairing QR codes expire after five minutes and work once. A changed PC address or identity also requires a new pairing.
Yes. Set On Close → Minimize to tray. The NetWatch process and managed runtime remain available. Use Exit NetWatch from the tray menu when you want to stop them.
It is stored locally by the Windows app and shared with the Android companion. Android does not keep an independent history database. Disabling Keep Watching deletes its cache.
NetWatch performs a fresh search and selects the first result allowed by Default quality. It does not keep the previous torrent name or magnet in Keep Watching.
No. External subtitle files are cached for playback and removed during cleanup.
No. They are released independently. Android release notes state the minimum compatible Windows version.
Use Windows issues for the PC application and Android issues for the companion. For security problems, follow Privacy and Security instead of opening a public issue.
