Playback and Keyboard Controls
Select a movie or episode, then choose a release. Default quality acts as a ceiling for automatic resume selection: a 1080p preference does not automatically choose a 2160p release.
During preparation or rebuffering, NetWatch shows the loading backdrop instead of normal player controls. Playback controls return when the stream is ready.

| Play or pause | Space |

| Open or close Tracks | S |
| Enter or leave fullscreen | F |
| Close a player menu or leave fullscreen | Escape |
The Tracks panel contains audio tracks, embedded subtitles, online subtitles, language choice, and subtitle timing. The Network panel shows live torrent and buffer information.
Closing the player records eligible Keep Watching progress and starts torrent cleanup. If the Windows title-bar close button is set to minimize to tray, NetWatch leaves playback cleanly before hiding the window.

| Go back |
Alt+Left or mouse Back |
| Go forward |
Alt+Right or mouse Forward |
Search focus works on Home, Discover, Settings, and search results. Back and Forward move through NetWatch's in-app history, including detail pages and previous searches.
The Android player opens in landscape. Its controls include play or pause, 10-second back and forward, mute, Tracks, Network, and video sizing.
The size button cycles through:
- Fill — fills the display;
- Fit — fits by height;
- Original — preserves the source aspect ratio within the display;
- 16:9 — fills a 16:9 frame.
Use the Back control to leave playback. The PC then records progress and cleans up the remote playback session.
