Wiki migration

This wiki was migrated from the MediaWiki that previously ran at popgen.dk/angsd, which now serves these pages.

What changed

• All pages were converted from MediaWiki markup to Markdown.
• Page history did not come across. The MediaWiki held 3239 edits by 10 users; the migration is a single import commit, so use the old wiki if you need to see who wrote what and when.
• Redirects were dropped, since GitHub wikis have no redirect mechanism. Links that pointed at a redirect now point at the real page.
• Duplicate pages were merged: Major Minor absorbed the former MajorMinor Method and Majorminor, and the shorter of the two SNP calling pages was dropped.
• Diagrams were previously drawn with a MediaWiki classdiagram extension and are now Mermaid blocks, which GitHub renders natively.
• Formulas moved from <math> tags to LaTeX ($...$).

Editing

The wiki is a git repository like any other, so you can either edit pages in the browser or clone it:

Filenames map to page URLs, with spaces becoming hyphens, and _Sidebar.md is the navigation menu. Two images (AdmixtureNGS.png and Pcangsd_pca.png) were already missing from the old server and are still absent here.
