Foxconda 3 Installation Guide

The software toolchain needed for this project is contained within a Python distribution called foxconda3.

Steps to Download and Install Foxconda 3

Go to the foxBMS Software Download Page
- Here we can find the executable to download foxconda3 for Windows
- The executable for a Linux download is under the foxconda directory.
- Download the corresponding executable and run it.
Go through the wizard
- Agree to the license agreement
- Install for Just Me
- Select Destination Folder
  
  Make sure the installation directory is C:\foxconda3
  
  Do not install foxconda into a directory containing whitespace
- Unselect Register Anaconda as my default Python 3.6
- Do not add Anaconda to PATH environment variable
- Finish
Test to see if installation completed successfully
- Open a CMD window
- Type C:\foxconda3\Scripts\activate
- Python shell should start
