Running Waf Guide

In order to run the build system for phxBMS, make sure to have downloaded and installed foxconda3, graphviz, and cloned the phxBMS repository.

  1. Open up a CMD window
  2. Change to the phxBMS directory with cd <phxBMS path>
  3. Start the python interpreter by running the command C:\foxconda3\Scripts\activate
  4. If this is the first time running the build system, run python tools\waf configure
  5. After configuration, run python tools\waf build_all to build all the code and documentation or python tools\waf doxygen_primary to build the documentation for the primary MCU.

  • python tools\waf --help
  • python tools\waf clean_all
