Long-term notes are used for consideration for to-do tasks that could help further the development of the project.

  • Identify two modules in the project and change the public and private function names according to the convention of this project

    • Manual implementation of the dependency graph -> reference dependence_graph.pptx to model two modules
    • Generate the call and caller graphs with new function names
    • Read the individual dot files of the call graphs and manually pick up the needed lines for edges to produce the dependency graph.
    • Discuss the format of the generated graph
  • Automatic implementation of the dependency graph.

    • Save the code in the directory of tools and/or dependency graph
    • Reproduce the dependency graph using a programming language of choice - Ruby or Python
    • Implement the configuration of the modules needed to generate the dependency graphs.
  • Integration to Waf, a Python-based build tool.

  • Integration to Rail, a Ruby-based build tool.

  • Integration to other build tools.
