PhishLens speaks English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch and Hausa: the popup, the banners in Gmail and Outlook, the attachment results and the notifications.
By default it follows your browser's language (English if your browser uses another language). To choose one:
- Open the popup and click the gear icon.
- Under Language, pick a language, or Automatic to follow the browser again.
The change applies at once, including in Gmail and Outlook tabs that are already open.
The Hausa translation is new and waiting for review by a native speaker. If a word reads wrong, please open an issue with the text you saw and a better wording.
phishlens.dev is available in the same eight languages: use the language button at the top right of any page. The privacy policy and the terms are translated too; the English version is the reference if the two ever differ.

| Wording score | 22 languages on PhishLens Cloud; tested on real phishing in English, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish |
Since version 2.0, PhishLens Cloud reads the wording with a multilingual model trained on 22 languages. It has been checked on real phishing in English, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese and Spanish; in the other languages (Hausa or Yoruba, for example) its score is less proven, so give more weight to the links and sender checks there, and to your own judgement. Under each verdict, PhishLens shows the language it detected: confirm it or correct it, it helps measure how well each language is read. A server you run yourself uses the English model unless you choose the multilingual one.
