FrameDeck lets you design your own dashboard screens and show them on any display: a spare monitor, your laptop screen, a tablet or old phone on your Wi-Fi, a round cooler screen like the NZXT Kraken, or a Raspberry Pi kiosk.
Every screen is a grid you lay out yourself. Widgets pick their own layout from the space they get, so the same weather widget works as a tiny icon on a 240 px round screen and as a full forecast on a 4K monitor.
- Installing FrameDeck: download and open the app.
- Getting Started: screens, pages, widgets and the look of your screens.
- Pick where to show it:
- Widgets: every built-in widget and what it shows.
- Writing Widgets: make your own with Widget Studio, including the full widget reference.
- Page Presets and Sharing: ready-made pages, and sharing layouts and widgets as files.
- Rainmeter Skins: show Rainmeter desktop skins on your screens.
- Network Sharing and Security: what other devices on your network can and can't do.
- Troubleshooting: fixes for common problems.
- Supporting FrameDeck: donations and supporter keys.
- For developers: Building from Source and Releasing.
These guides are also built into the app (in English, 简体中文 and 繁體中文): click Guides at the top of the editor.
FrameDeck is inspired by EpaperSystem by Feeengyuuu (no code was copied). It's free and open source under the MIT license.
