Page Presets and Sharing

  1. Add a page from a preset. Under Pages, click + Add and choose Preset. Presets are arranged for the screen you're on, round and e-ink included. Choose Custom for a blank page or a copy of the current one.
  2. Edit a preset. Add a page from it and change anything. In the right panel, Save to preset updates the preset; Save as new preset… keeps the original. Built-in presets you edit can be put back with Reset in the preset list.
  3. Save any page as a preset. Select the page and click Save as preset… on the right.
  4. Share. In the preset list, Export saves a .framedeck-page.json file. Others add it with Import a preset…. Whole screens export from the right panel (Export layout, a .framedeck.json file). Your own widgets are included in both, so the file works on someone else's FrameDeck.
  5. Finer control. Each screen's Block size (right panel) sets how small the grid is. Smaller blocks let you size and place widgets more precisely.

Changing a screen's size or grid stretches the layout instead of breaking it, so a page made for one screen adapts to another.

Copy to screen… (right panel, under Page) copies the current page to another of your screens.
