Manage Tabs modal
The Manage Tabs modal is the central hub for managing you Tabs. You'll be able to add, remove, move, edit, ... your Tabs on your full screen.
By default, any changes you make to the Tabs in the modal are NOT saved until you click on the Save button. This is to allow you to revert your changes by using the Cancel or Close (X) buttons.
There are 2 ways to open the Manage Tabs modal
- When you're on a Salesforce Setup page, right-click on the page then move your mouse to
Again, Why Salesforceand clickManage Tabsin the sub-menu - Open the popup and click on
Manage Tabs
The modal will open with all your Tabs displayed.
Head to the end of the table and start typing the Label, URL, and Org (not mandatory) of the Tab you want to create.
When both the Label and URL inputs are filled in, a new empty row will be created at the end of the table.
Find the Tab you'd like to edit within the table, then make any changes you'd like to the Label, URL, or Org texts.
You may drag and drop your Tabs to reorder them. To do so, simply find a Tab you'd like to move somewhere else and click on the 6 dots on the left of its row, then (while holding the click) move the row up or down until you find your desired spot and release the mouse click.
On the right of each row, you'll find a downward pointing arrow. Click on it and select "Open" to navigate to the related Tab.
Any changes you've made to the Tabs will be lost; a popup will ask you for your confirmation if you're about to lose any of your edits.
On the right of each row, you'll find a downward pointing arrow. Click on it and select "Pin" to add the related Tab to the end of the Pinned list.
If the selected row contains an already Pinned Tab, you'll see "Unpin" instead.
On the right of each row, you'll find a downward pointing arrow. Click on it and select "Unpin" to remove the related Tab from the Pinned list and move it to the beginning of the Unpinned list.
If the selected row contains an already Unpinned Tab, you'll see "Pin" instead.
On the right of each row, you'll find a downward pointing arrow. Click on it and select "Delete" to remove the related Tab from your favourite Tabs.
