Save a Tab
To "Add a Tab" or to "Favorite a Tab" means to Save a particular page in the extension.
To read about what constitutes a Tab, please read this article.
To read about how to "Import Tabs", please read this article.
There are multiple ways to add a Tab so we'll go over this starting from the Popup and moving on to what is available in the Salesforce page.
In the "Manage Tabs" modal (if you need to know how to get to this modal, please read this article), you'll see all the already saved Tabs (if you haven't set up any of them yet, you'll still find 3 default Tabs ready for you to try) and at the bottom of the list, you should see a row with grayed-out boxes (input fields) with some placeholder text.
Simply click on those boxes and insert the Label of the Tab in the box on the left and the URL to which you want to be redirected in the box on the center; you might also fill in the box on the right with the Org in which you want to see the Tab. Now, to Save the Tab you've written, simply click on the "Save" button at the bottom of the modal. The modal will close and you'll see a message on the screen telling you that the Tabs have been saved correctly.
You could write Flows in the box on the left (which will be your Label) and Flows/home in the box on the right (which will be your URL); then click on the Save button and have your Tabs saved!
The URL input field has a trick up its sleeve! Try pasting a full URL instead of writing everything!
As mentioned before, all the saved Tabs are shown in the blank space at the top of the Salesforce Setup page, but this is only where you can find them.
To save a Tab without using the Manage Tabs modal, you can click on the light-blue Star found at the top-right of the inner page (at the right of the title of the page).
The Star is not shown for Home and Object Manager because they're always shown even without this extension.
Once you've clicked the Star, the Tab is automatically added to your list and is ready to be used.
By default, new Tabs are added at the end of your Tab list.
If Add new Tabs in front is enabled, new Tabs are added after any pinned Tabs.
You may save any Salesforce Setup page, even ones which correlate to a Custom Field or a specific Custom Metadata. These Tabs are known as org-specific Tabs and are shown in bold (by default) in Salesforce and with their Org field in the Manage Tabs modal.
When you're on a page you'd like to save, right-click anywhere on the screen (not on a link though) then move your mouse to Again, Why Salesforce and click Save as Tab in the sub-menu.
When you're on a page you'd like to save, perform the keyboard shortcut linked to the Save Tab function (default: Alt+Shift+K; MacOS default: Option+Shift+K). You should see a message on the screen telling you that the Tabs have been saved correctly.
