Description

The purpose of this qwidget is to display a running log of a telemetry data item.

The qwidget layout has three views:

  • Main View (Default view)
  • Delete Menu
  • Settings Menu

Main View

On opening the qwidget, this view is displayed.This viewing window has the following main element.

Log Table

  • The header of the log table displays the column titles for each of the log data row. The column titles are:
    • Name: This column displays the name of the telemetry data item.
    • Value: This column displays the value of the telemetry data item.
    • Time: This column displays the timestamp of the telemetry data item.
    • Vehicle: This column displays the vehicle name of the telemetry data item.
  • There is a search bar below the header of the table for each column. This is used to search for logs from the list of log data.
  • The table body has a running log of telemetry data item displaying the values of the data name mentioned in the column title.
  • The log is appended with a new row every second.The Value column's value of each row is displayed in the color according to data state colors.

Delete Menu

This menu can be viewed by clicking the trash icon on the qwidget header.This menu has yes and no buttons.This menu is used to delete the qwidget from the dashboard.

Settings Menu

This menu can be viewed by clicking the settings button(cog icon) on the qwidget header.This menu is used to set any telemetry data item.The telemetry data item is selected from the data menu.This menu has the following main elements.

  • Input field to select telemetry data item.
  • Save and Close buttons

Data Selection

Input Description: The input can be any one telemetry data item from the data tree of the data menu.

Input Value: Can be any one data item from the data tree which is not a category or a sub category.

Input Order: No order

Required: This input field requires one input.

The following section(Select Data) explains how to select the data from the data menu.

Select Data:

  1. Click on the input field below the select data label. This will open the data menu(left navigation menu) on the dashboard.
  2. Traverse through the data tree in the data menu(or search using the search bar) and select any input value.

Save

This is used to save the data set in the input field. The telemetry data item from the data tree must be selected, applied and then saved.On successful save, the qwidget layout changes from settings menu to main view layout displaying the logs with each row appending every second.

Close

This is used to close the settings menu and view the main layout.Any changes made before close are lost if not saved.
