Qwidget Management

Qwidgets

Widgets in Quindar are called Qwidgets. The dashboard contains Qwidgets laid out in a grid format by the user. A user can add Qwidgets to the layout grid, drag the Qwidgets around, delete Qwidgets, save, load and clear the grid layout from the Configuration Menu.

Add Qwidget

This element displays a list of all the available qwidget names with an icon. On click on the widget name from the list, the dashboard is populated with the qwidget.

Save Layout

This element is used to save a layout of qwidgets. On click on this element, a prompt dialog box is opened asking user to enter the name for the layout. On successful save,the layout name appears in the load layout list.

Load Layout

This element displays a list of saved layouts for the current mission. On click on any layout name, the selected layout is displayed on the dashboard.

Clear

This element is used to clear a given layout for a given session. Note: Clearing a saved layout does not clear from the database. All changes have to be saved to be displayed in the database.
