Features and configuration

Explosion presets include Vanilla, Creeper Safe, Mob Explosion Safe, Survival Balanced, Build Safe and Full Protection. Choose source-specific block filtering, All/Critical/Storage/Redstone/Custom categories, and separate dimension rules. Optional entity damage prevention is off by default and depends on the hurt event's source. Beds/anchors without a source use Unknown.

Runes have square footprints with tier radius caps 16/32/64/128/256. Radius 16 means 33×33. Height is fixed at Y−20 through Y+20 inclusive. Tier II costs 1 Diamond Block, 8 Crying Obsidian and 8 Amethyst Blocks; Tier III costs 4 Netherite Ingots, 8 Diamond Blocks and 8 Echo Shards; Tier IV costs 1 Nether Star, 2 Netherite Blocks, 16 Diamond Blocks and 16 Echo Shards; Tier V costs 2 Nether Stars, 4 Netherite Blocks, 32 Diamond Blocks and 32 Echo Shards. Pay near the placed rune. Breaking resets the dropped block to Tier I.

Default Base player protection restricts build, break, containers, item use, entity interactions and attacks; ordinary interaction and PvP remain open. Presets and custom restrictions are available. Visitor/Friend/Builder/Technician/Manager roles provide action permissions; only owner/operator can remove, transfer or change membership. A Manager can configure the rune. Membership uses the selected player's persistent identity.

Grid toggles and 30-second previews show one-block cyan lines at rune height. Nearby tiles render with a world helper budget; preview geometry is shared and does not load chunks. Partial tiles fully collapse unused lines at the radius. Personal settings control feedback, warnings, and preview requests.

All four side faces carry distinct glowing glyphs. Floating Runes, Soul Flame and Soul-Flame Sounds are independent per-rune toggles, defaulting on. The floating glyphs use additive rendering and erupt from the flame's center, curving sharply outward near the top of their arc. The flame uses the animated vanilla soul-campfire atlas tile on crossed model planes. Effects and flame-state synchronization run only for loaded runes near a player and do not create ticking areas.

Operators can enable/disable individual features and sources worldwide, set maximum tier/radius/count/members, overlap rules, upgrade cost/availability, dimensions, custom IDs and logs. andys_sgp:admin list prints all keys; set KEY VALUE writes a setting. runes FILTER, inspect ID, enable ID, disable ID, transfer ID ONLINE_NAME, and remove ID manage records. reload revalidates persisted state. reset confirm restores world defaults while retaining ownership records.
