Workspaces

Halloran Parry edited this page Jul 25, 2015 · 2 revisions

Conceptually, a workspace is a collection of rules that form a single, internally consistent package of business logic. Workspaces can be shared across Ultrastructure installations and imported into other workspaces.

Examples of workspaces are:

  • A Weights and Measures workspace that defines well-known units of measurement and conversions between them.
  • The Acme Account workspace that contains the Acme Account Product rule, related attributes, and protocols and metaprotocols specific to the Acme Account that might override other, more general workflow elements.
  • A Well-Known Objects workspace that contains the rules defining the metadata of an organization.
