Billing and Tax
Enter the hours you worked, your hours per day (7 by default) and your day rate. Hesabak divides and rounds down to a tenth of a day, so the client never pays for part of a day you didn't work.
40 hours ÷ 7 hours per day = 5.71, rounded down to 5.7 days. At EGP 2,000 a day, that's EGP 11,400.
Add a time record such as "Toggl export, 1–12 March" so the client can match it to your log.
Switch to Line items for fixed prices: a description, quantity and unit price per row. Add item adds a row; the × removes one.
If the client paid part up front, enter it under Payments → Advance already received. The invoice shows "Less: advance already received" and a Balance due for the rest.
| Setting | Use it when |
|---|---|
| No tax | You aren't registered for VAT (the default) |
| Egypt VAT 14% | You charge Egyptian VAT |
| Custom | Any other tax: set your own label and rate |
Tick Prices already include tax if your price is tax-inclusive (Hesabak works the tax out of it). Leave it unticked to add tax on top.
EGP, USD, EUR and AED, with thousands separators (EGP 11,400). Each profile has a default currency.
Set a Due date so the client knows when to pay. Put how to pay in the Payment note, and optionally a Payment link (an InstaPay or payment page) that shows as "Pay online" in the Standard template.
