Director & Event Modification

  • West Door Event:
    • Made the west door event use a gauntlet script instead of scripted common spawns.
    • Reduced time taken to close the doors to 7 seconds.
    • Added a sound to indicate when the door has opened.
  • Millionth Customer Door Event:
    • Made the millionth customer door event use a gauntlet script.
    • Made the event start faster.
    • Made the door always start with 49 customers left, and removed any penalty for letting infected through.
    • Automatically open the bank door when the event ends.
    • Fixed various bugs and issues with the event.
  • Fixed jesus spot behind the fountain.
  • Fixed commons getting stuck at the top of the stairs by the millionth customer door.
  • Removed scripted common / special infected spawns.
  • Removed the sequence to break out of the saferoom with the toilet.
  • Removed random event that spawns common in the area around the first event.
  • Removed event from the bookstore outside saferoom.
  • Removed horde event by the paintball store.
  • Blocked navs on the "Real Zoey" door until it's opened.
  • Removed the event in the gun shop and make it always open.
  • Removed script that sets director options before the millionth customer door event that prevents hordes from spawning.
  • Removed "Twitcher" event that causes the game to lag.
  • Removed the alarm from the ATMs by the millionth customer door - can be exploited to mess with the event.
  • Blocked nav in the bank until event is done.
  • Removed battlefield properties from nav areas by the millionth customer door that messes with common spawns.
  • Removed obscured properties from nav areas that shouldn't have it.
    • By vending machine before the north door event.
    • Platform above the fountain.
  • Opened up access to the server room by the millionth customer door and remove events from it.
    • Moved the filing cabinet in the server room to add a new spawn.
  • Removed some scripted hordes at the end of the map.
  • Removed extra horde from alarmed ATMs.

Map Items

  • Made the guns by the first event door always spawn.
  • Allowed guns in the "Real Zoey" kitchen to spawn.
  • Made SMGs spawn in the gun shop.
  • Made the magnum spawns in the gun shop single pickup.
  • Moved the melee spawn from inside the fashion girl store to the tables outside (store is blocked due to nav issue).
  • Added weapon spawns inside the bank.
  • Removed pill spawns in bad locations or excessive density in a location.

Ammo Piles

  • Added an ammo pile by the "Real Zoey" door by the west door event.
  • Added an ammo pile in the bank.

Exploits Blocked

  • Prevented survivors from standing on the west gate door button.
  • Prevented survivors from standing on the millionth customer door button.
  • Blocked players from entering the fashion girl store as commons cannot path there.
  • Blocked survivors from standing on top of the security desk in the server room.
  • Blocked survivors from skipping over the vending machine in the sports store.
  • Blocked players from jumping on a shelf by the barricade in the sports store.
  • Blocked survivors from jumping over some of the barricades by the end of the map.

Out of Bounds

Stuck Spots

  • Prevented players from getting stuck under grass outside the millionth customer door.

Nuisance & Quality of Life Changes

  • Changed color of alarmed ATMs to make it obvious which ones are alarmed, hide sprites when alarm is done, made sound end sooner.
  • Removed ragdolls.
  • Removed breakable ceiling panels by the west door event.
  • Removed excessively bright sprites on server room sign.
  • Removed or fixed annoying physics props.
  • Fixed colors, shadows, and collisions on props.
  • Fixed non-solid static props throughout the map.
  • Added texture for unmarked breakable walls.
  • Added clipping on sleeping bags after the gun shop.
  • Reduced health of a breakable wall by the end saferoom.

Props

  • Removed the AC vent cover in the saferoom and replace it with a fence
    • Infected ghosts can pass through this fence.
  • Added additional boxes at the vent drop, to prevent players standing in the spit block area.
  • Added a fence to block the back of the security room in the gun store, to prevent standing in the spit block area.
  • Added a vending machine outside the gun shop.
  • Added metal plates to block server room window.
  • Added a vending machine outside the server room by the millionth customer door.

Ladder / Elevator Attack Nerf

Map Sounds

  • Removed CJ / radio voice lines and other voice lines / triggered sound effects.
  • Removed miscellaneous sound effects from the map.
  • Removed music.

Particles and Visual Effects

  • Removed wrong way signs by the west door event.
  • Removed wrong way signs by the millionth customer door event.
  • Reduced splashing by the millionth customer door.

Clips

Triggers

  • Removed weird teleport triggers throughout the map (don't seem to be used).
  • Removed push trigger at the west door event.
  • Players will move 40% faster while being forced to crouch through the vent.
    • Requires l4d2_slowdown_control.
  • Adjusted position of auto crouch trigger slightly.
  • Removed weird kill triggers after the gun shop.
  • Removed triggers that kill infected during the millionth customer event event.
  • Prevented infected from being pushed by the millionth door push triggers.

Ladders

  • Added an infected ladder to climb to the upper floor outside saferoom.
  • Added infected ladders to climb over fences by the end saferoom.

Spit Block

  • Blocked spit in the vent where players are forced to crouch.
    • Added a visual indication of spit block area.
