Git Commands

To make a new branch on your own computer

git checkout -b **<name of branch>**

To push your new branch to GitHub

git add .

git commit -m "<message>"

git push -u origin **<name of branch>**

BEFORE merging your feature branch into premaster

git checkout **<feature branch>** (if you aren't already on it)`

git merge premaster

• Fix merge conflicts if required.

git add .

git commit -m "merged premaster into <feature>"

git push
