Meeting 8: 23/08/19

What we have done

• Implemented Normalisation and Duplicate detection which drastically reduced memory consumption and sped up execution time
• Visualisation is on track, need to think about how it affects execution time
• Nodes and Edges classes removed, instead we now use primitive data structures (int arrays). (Overhaul of architecture)
• Lists converted to Hashmaps,Hashsets

Timelines

• Need to make sure that we are on track, and everyone is aware of the deadlines that are currently in place.

Miscellaneous

• Have scheduled breaks so work is more efficient and no one burns out
• Possibly need to test at UG4 for Linux systems - currently only have been working on own laptops
