A Plugin edit element is a way to load a plugin (native DLL) into the game. Creating a plugin is complicated and requires knowledge of C/C++. Refer to this wiki page to get started developing a plugin for Ty.
A plugin element is a very simple edit element. The only information it needs is the relative path to the plugin DLL.
- The plugin path is relative to the folder that the XML is placed in.
- Do NOT use absolute paths when specifying the plugin path.
<plugin>value</plugin>
| Type | Name | Required | Description | Usage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| value | value | Yes | The relative plugin path | <plugin>my plugin.dll</plugin> |
<root>
<tymod name="Super Speed" version="1.0.0" authors="Dnawrkshp" tyversion="" description="Hold control to enable.">
<plugin>example-plugin.dll</plugin>
</tymod>
</root>- The value points to a relative file.
In the provided example, the dll file located at $(TyInstallationPath)/Mods/example-plugin.dll is loaded into the Ty.exe process at start and directly changes memory values.
