Making a Call

1. Get your number

Right-click your Transponder Snail (block or handheld) for the first time to activate it — your snail will be assigned a 4 Digit "Snail Number", shown in the call screen and the snails tooltip.

2. Dial

Open the dial screen (right click on snail), and enter the number you want to call using the on-screen keypad (or numpad if enabled in config), and press the dial button.

3. Ring

The target snail will start ringing. (If it's a placed block, anyone nearby will hear it ring too)

4. Answer

Right-click the ringing snail to answer the call.

5. Talk

Once connected, both sides can talk using your normal voice chat setup. The audio is filtered to sound like an actual phone call.

6. Listen in (optional)

Players standing near a placed Transponder Snail during an active call can hear both sides, even without being part of the call themselves.

7. Hang up

Right Click the snail to end the call. (NOTE: Calls will also end automatically after either: 30 seconds of now answering, A long period of silence, or if a caller leaves the game mid-call)

You can't call your own snail, and calling a number that's already busy will say so instead of connecting.
