1. WHERE DO I DROP MODS?
Due to Capcom's attempt to block mods, it is required to use Stracker's Loader post Iceborne update. Extract the files inside the Loader archive to the directory where the game executable (MonsterHunterWorld.exe) is located and you are ready to use mods.
Usually mods themselves come in zip folders, you extract them using programs like 7-Zip and drop them into the "nativePC" folder inside the Monster Hunter World directory:

2. WHERE DO I FIND MODS?
Usually on the nexus. https://www.nexusmods.com/monsterhunterworld is the nexus page for Monster Hunter World.
3. WHERE IS THIS TEXTURE FILE?
First thing to is look here: https://github.com/ZephyAlurus/MHW-Texture-Editing-Documentation/wiki/Identifying-Textures this has mapped out weapons and armors. If what you are looking for isn’t here, feel free to ask the discord in “#modding-quick-questions” where you might find what you are looking for.
4. WHY ISN’T THIS CUSTOM FILE WORKING?
Look at the directory to make sure the folder inside the nativepc matches one of these directories:

If it doesn’t you probably moved the folder incorrectly from the mod. Try again, make sure to put the nativePC folder from the mod next to the Monster Hunter World exe file.
5. HOW DO I EXPORT MY COOL AWESOME MOD INTO THE MOD3 FORMAT?

6. HOW HARD WOULD IT BE TO PUT THIS THINGY INTO THE GAME?
Varies from easy to annoying. Depending on what the model/file is you need to check for copyright issues to put it in the game in the first place, unless you are doing it for personal use exclusively, in which case it’s a legal grey area.
7. HOW DO I EDIT WEAPON STATS?!
I personally don’t condone cheating or editing stats for the most part. Feel free to look at this user’s mods for programs that could help you do this. 8. HELP I CAN’T STOP CHEATING AND NEED MORE EASY MODE IN MY LIFE!
That’s not a question. http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?t=7629 is a cheat engine table people use. Don’t use it online for the love of god. Additionally, pay attention to the latest posts. Not everything may be functional after an update.
9. CAN I GET ____ DLC WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT?
Probably. No, we won’t help you do so, even in direct messages. 3 dollars isn’t a lot of money, and if it’s too much for you, may I suggest either different life choices, or a different hobby from PC gaming.
10. CAN WE ADD NEW MONSTERS TO THE GAME?
Yes, we can add new monsters. It's gargantuan amounts of work.
11. CAN WE GET BANNED FOR USING MODS?
Probably not. In the history of the game thus far there hasn't been a single confirmed ban. Considering the amount of stuff people do en mass with cheat engine (0.00 second arena times), and the fact that Capcom legitimately put the nativePC modding feature into their game, it's unlikely that mods will get you banned. There are confirmed support statements saying that so long as they are cosmetic they don't care. Everything else is a gray area, but personally I wouldn't fret.
