Style Library
The Style Library is where you manage every custom preset you've built up — custom biomes, Quick Styles for Routes, Regions and Labels, and custom pin icons — plus export and import them so you can share a style kit with another GM, or between your own worlds.

Click the colour swatch to edit the colour of each biome. Add your own custom biomes using the + next to the section header — once created, they behave exactly like the built-in biomes everywhere else in the module (selectable with the Biomes brush, eligible to appear procedurally wherever they fit the climate model, etc).
- Add, edit or delete Quick Styles for Routes, Regions and Labels.
- Changing an existing Quick Style will change the style of all routes, regions or labels using that style.
- Deleting a Quick Style will preserve the existing style but they can no longer be changed in bulk.
- Disable built-in icons from appearing in the icon picker. The default icon cannot be disabled (as it is the safe fallback). Disabling an icon does not remove it from any pins already using it.
- Add new custom icons and edit existing custom icons. New icons must be SVG format and be solid white on a transparent background. A preview of the icon on a black background will be shown so you can check it will show in the UI.
- Remove custom icons. This will remove the icon from the settings. If the icon is being used on any pins you will see a warning and be asked to confirm you still want to remove it. If you continue, those pins will revert to using the default icon.
Share your custom biomes and Quick Styles with another GM — or between your own worlds — as a small file, without having to share (or rebuild) an entire map.
- Export Settings opens a dialogue with one checkbox per category (Custom Biomes, Route Quick Styles, Region Quick Styles, Label Quick Styles), each showing how many you currently have on this map. A category with nothing in it is greyed out, since there's nothing to send. Tick whichever you want to share and confirm — the file downloads immediately, named after your current map.
- Import Settings opens a file picker. Choose a file exported this way and its contents are added to whatever the current map already has. Importing never overwrites or removes anything already on the map, so it's safe to import into a map that already has its own custom biomes and styles — and safe to import the same file twice, since anything that's an exact match for something already there is skipped automatically rather than added again. That check is on content, not name: if a shared biome or style has since been tweaked (a recoloured "Tundra", say), re-importing adds it as a new, separate entry rather than updating the one you already have. If the file doesn't contain anything the module recognises, you'll see a warning instead.
Worked example: if you're running a Rolemaster Unified (RMU) campaign, you could build that system's specific biomes once, export just the Custom Biomes category, and send that one small file to anyone else mapping for RMU. They import it and immediately have the same biomes available to paint with — no manual recreation needed.
Custom Pin Icons don't travel with Export/Import yet. A custom pin icon is a link to an SVG file already sitting in your own world's Foundry Data folder, rather than something the module stores directly — sharing it portably would mean bundling the actual image file too, which isn't built yet. Everything else on this page (Biome Colours, and all three Quick Style types) is fully covered.
