Every row resolves to one of Standard (works as installed), Configurable (works once a setting is supplied), or Custom Development Required.
| Capability | Tier | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 182 data models covering the Plex read surface | Standard | Installed complete; nothing to select |
| 465 forward relations across 45 target models | Standard | Declared from both ends |
| 283 reverse collections | Standard |
supplier.supplierAccountsPayableInvoices and similar |
| Enforced referential integrity | Standard | A reference to a row that does not exist is rejected on write |
| Provenance on every row | Standard |
externalId, sourceSystemId, sourceUrl, sourceVersion, syncedAt, rawPayload, dedupeKey
|
| Source-key deduplication | Standard | Primary key is the vendor's key; a record cannot land twice |
| Identity derivation for keyless lookups | Standard | 21 lookup tables derive their key by create trigger |
| Load order computed from the relation graph | Standard | 7 layers, published per endpoint as loadLayer
|
ExternalSystem row for the site |
Configurable | Must exist before any load; the models reference it |
Site identity (pcn, sourceSystemId) |
Configurable | Read flows refuse to run until both are set |
| Extraction flows | Not in this package | Schema only — flows ship separately |
| Incremental extraction windows | Configurable | 21 endpoints accept a created/modified date range; off by default |
| Multi-level sub-resource reads | Custom Development Required | 40 endpoints need more than one parent to resolve their path |
| Cross-site harmonisation | Custom Development Required | Belongs to the enterprise hub |
| Writing back to Plex | Custom Development Required | Out of scope by design |
| Business question the schema can answer | Tier |
|---|---|
| What parts, customers, suppliers and purchase orders exist in this PCN? | Standard |
| Which supplier is on this invoice, and what is their address? | Standard |
| What was produced on this job, and against which part and operation? | Standard |
| Which containers, lots and serials exist, and where are they? | Standard |
| Who created or last modified this record? | Standard |
| What did Plex actually return for this row, verbatim? | Standard — rawPayload
|
| When was this row last read, and from which endpoint? | Standard — syncedAt, sourceUrl
|
| What changed in Plex since yesterday? | Configurable — 21 endpoints support a date window |
| How does this part compare to the same part in another PCN? | Custom Development Required — hub concern |
Configurable means the capability is built and waits on a value only the site can supply — a PCN number, a source-system id, a date window. Custom Development Required is not a euphemism for missing; each one is listed because the boundary is real and knowing it up front is worth more than a longer Standard column.
