Binary questions. Each answer moves the accelerator into scope, out of scope, or into custom work. Answer them before estimating.
| # | Question | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Will this Fuuz tenant serve exactly one Plex PCN? | Standard | Blocker — one tenant per PCN; a shared tenant collapses rows |
| 2 | Do you have more than one PCN to bring in? | One install per PCN, plus hub work | Single install |
| 3 | Is a separate enterprise/hub tenant available for cross-site views? | Hub is a separate package | Cross-PCN questions cannot be answered |
| # | Question | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | Do you have Plex API credentials for this PCN? | Standard | Nothing can be read |
| 5 | Is your Plex tenant on the same API version as the 2026-08-05 dictionary? | Standard | Regenerate against your dictionary |
| 6 | Do you use custom objects in Plex? | Custom — those endpoints need a further hop | Standard |
| 6a | Do you have a process for noticing when Plex changes their API? | Standard | Review — vendor changes do not propagate to this accelerator; someone must own noticing |
| # | Question | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7 | Can you name the Plex objects you actually need? | Enable those endpoints | Enable broadly and prune — costs more API calls |
| 8 | Do you need attachments or document binaries? | Custom | Standard |
| 9 | Do you need any of the 40 multi-level sub-resources? | Custom development | Standard |
| 10 | Do you need Plex data written back? | Out of scope | Standard |
| # | Question | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11 | Is a full re-read of each enabled object acceptable per run? | Standard | Use the 21 date-window endpoints; others have no incremental option |
| 12 | Do you need sub-hourly freshness on high-volume objects? | Review — Plex has no pagination, so each read is whole | Standard |
| 13 | Are you subject to a Plex API rate limit or call quota? | Plan endpoint selection around it | Standard |
| # | Question | Yes | No |
|---|---|---|---|
| 14 | Must you retain the exact vendor payload for audit? | Standard — rawPayload on every row |
Can be dropped to save space |
| 15 | Do you need to know when each row was last read? | Standard — syncedAt, sourceUrl, sourceVersion
|
Standard anyway |
| 16 | Will more than one system write into these models? | Review — the schema assumes Plex is sole author | Standard |
If a stakeholder cannot answer 1 and 4, the project is not ready to estimate. Everything else can be discovered during implementation; those two determine whether the accelerator applies at all.
