Items in configs (first-join rewards, item lists and so on) are written exactly like that version's /give command. Each version reads only its own syntax; the syntax of another version is reported as an error in the log and is not converted.
| Version | Syntax | Example |
|---|---|---|
| 1.20.1 | itemID{NBT} |
minecraft:diamond_sword{Enchantments:[{id:"minecraft:sharpness",lvl:5s}]} |
| 1.21.1 | itemID[components] |
minecraft:diamond_sword[enchantments={levels:{"minecraft:sharpness":5}}] |
| 26.1.2 | itemID[components] |
minecraft:diamond_sword[enchantments={"minecraft:sharpness":5}] |
Note that enchantments differ between 1.21.1 and 26.1.2: 26.1 dropped the levels level.
In config files, add the count as a prefix, for example 16x minecraft:apple.
- Operators run
/kt setfirstjointo write the items in their inventory in the correct syntax. - Alt + C copies an item's ID; Alt + F shows its details.
- Try the text with
/givein game: anything/giveaccepts works in the config.
