Gauge 0.8.3
0.8.2: read CPU temperature from whichever sensor reports Gauge bound one CPU temperature sensor at launch and fell back to the ACPI thermal zone when it gave no value, which on many desktops is a fixed number. It now walks every CPU temperature sensor in priority order each tick, records the source, logs it when it changes, and shows it (with the elevation state) in --sensor-probe. Gauge 0.8.2
0.8.1: fix CPU temperature and clock freezing without admin rights Without the kernel driver, Telemetry drops the hardware library's empty CPU sensors after three ticks and falls back to Windows' ACPI thermal zone and performance counter. The CPU values were not cleared after that, so the fallbacks stopped running and the last reading stuck. They are now cleared every tick. Adds --sensor-probe, which logs Gauge's readings next to the library's raw CPU sensors. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Gauge 0.8.1
Stop tracking the docs/index.html landing page draft It was picked up by accident in the 0.8.0 commit. The file stays on disk and is now ignored. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Gauge 0.8.0
0.7.2: Keychron Q1 HE lighting through VIA A native driver for QMK keyboards that speak VIA protocol v3 over raw HID (usage page FF60): it reads the RGB matrix's current effect, brightness, speed and colour, sets them with VIA's custom-value commands, and saves to the keyboard once changes settle. Only boards with a known effect list are claimed; the Keychron Q1 HE (3434:0B10) is the first. Device reports now include what unclaimed QMK interfaces answer. --qmk-test runs the driver against a simulated VIA keyboard. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Gauge 0.7.2
0.7.1: segmented-dial logo and a new installer panel The mark is now a 270-degree dial in nine segments, six lit, drawn once in Brand.cs and used for the app icon, the navigation rail, the tray menu, the installer panel and the README banner (16-24 px icons use a five-segment form). The installer panel is redesigned to match the app, with a track for Velopack's 12 px progress bar, and release.ps1 now draws it with the version being released. Gauge 0.7.1
Animated page showcases in the README Each feature section now shows its page in motion instead of a still, drawn frame by frame by Gauge's own renderer on the hero's black stage: Monitor running live on a seamless 30 second loop, Lighting setting colours and the Breathing and Wave effects, Specs scrolling through the inventory and copying it, and Settings cycling accent colours and the start-up switches. The PNG screenshots stay in docs/screenshots. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
