The Plan can add editorial exceptions without storing fragile page numbers.
Modify… on a photo page lets you choose the photo that starts the page and select a template for that single page. Later pages return to the album default until another override is encountered.
Add a special page after… inserts an enabled body special page after a photo or a year, month or day divider. Built-in choices are the MSB dedication, the MSB blank page and the Simplex full-page photo. Insertions can be edited, disabled, re-enabled or deleted.
An insertion after a photo ends that photo page; subsequent photos start on another page. Multiple insertions at the same anchor keep their order. A disabled insertion remains visible in the Plan without a page number.
These directives are anchored to stable photo identities or chronological boundaries. They therefore survive page-number changes caused by other settings. An anchor becomes dormant when its source or photo is inactive, missing, disabled, or outside the body; the saved directive is retained. An incompatible inserted page is omitted with a warning. An incompatible photo-page override keeps its page boundary but uses the default template until corrected.
Global page size, divider and export settings are described in the User guide. Page roles and constraints are listed in Templates.
photo-album-cli operates on the same .photoalbum projects and does not modify source images. Run photo-album-cli <command> --help for complete arguments.

--dpi 300 --language enThe CLI pdf command accepts 150, 300 or 600 DPI and exports the complete album. It requires saved album settings and at least one effective photo. CLI geocoding uses Nominatim; scan --geocode requires an explicit user agent. If several configured local sources use the same directory, pass scan --source-id ID to identify the occurrence.
