Yes. Pinyin, @open, @claude (needs Claude Code) and voice input don't use Bedrock; only @improve, @question and sentence mode need it.
Bedrock bills by token, to your own account; for prices, see AWS's Bedrock pricing page. Requests are made only when you press the action key; running the same sentence again uses the cache; the more rewrite styles, the longer the output.
In an @ command draft, ⏎ runs the command; with sentence mode on and ⏎ as the action key, ⏎ in a draft runs it too, and ⇧⏎ inserts the draft as typed. Without a draft, ⏎ is a plain Return. See Commands.
No. If what follows @ isn't a command name (@张三 (a Chinese name), @john), it is inserted as typed.
After the command is picked, press ⇧⏎: the draft is inserted as typed, @claude included. You can also type punctuation right after @claude.
That's intentional: during secure input, pinyin pauses, keys go in as typed, and nothing is sent to the AI. See Privacy.
Run make install again and check listed: in make status. See Installation and Troubleshooting.
macOS doesn't show third-party input methods' options in System Settings. Open "AllInOneIME Settings" (Spotlight finds it), or use the input method's icon in the menu bar → "Settings…".
No, the next request uses the new settings.
No, only static access keys are supported. aws_session_token is read too, but you have to renew temporary credentials yourself when they expire.
Settings → Advanced → turn off "Send temperature", or put "temperature": null in config.json.
Rewrites that only change punctuation or repeat another line aren't shown.
With maxTokens left at its default, @improve raises the limit automatically for long input (up to 8192); if you set it yourself, increase Advanced → "Up to … output tokens".
By default only rime-ice's full pinyin schema is enabled (default.custom.yaml in the Rime user folder); other schemas haven't been tested.
When nothing is being typed, letters are inserted directly.
Pinyin works. Terminal handles ⌘V itself; to hand the clipboard's text to a command, press ⌃V in the command, or press the action key with nothing after the command. With Terminal's "Secure Keyboard Entry" on, pinyin pauses.
Check the notice in the candidate panel: most likely microphone access, or the speech model isn't downloaded yet. See Voice Input.
macOS remembers the added input method, microphone access and preferences by bundle ID; changing it would mean adding and authorizing it again.
make uninstall, then delete the data folders; see "Uninstall" in Installation and Troubleshooting.
