Item Transport

Item Transport

Conveyors need no power. The arrow is travel direction: extract from the inventory behind, offer to the one in front. Items on top use the world-entity transport path. Use the rotation tool to orient the belt. Receiving machines' face restrictions still apply.

Configurable Inventory Filter

basepower:item_filter_inventory is a nine-slot whitelist, not a filter for inventory-bearing blocks.

Place the filter in the line, a chest below and an onward route in front. Open its GUI and place samples in the filter slots. Matching item types and metadata go down; others continue forward.

Samples Routing
Empty Nothing matches; everything continues forward.
One dirt sample Matching dirt goes down; other items continue.
Several samples An item matching any occupied sample goes down.

Samples remain as settings rather than being consumed as passing stock. Matching is item/metadata equality, not Ore Dictionary equivalence or full NBT equality. Samples should survive reload.

Filter Catalogue

All block paths below are in basepower:. Craft vertically from conveyor, middle sample, wooden pressure plate; overflow omits the middle sample.

Block path Selects Crafting sample
item_filter_block Block items Stone
item_filter_food Food Bread
item_filter_fuel Furnace fuels Coal
item_filter_inventory Your nine sample types Chest
item_filter_ore Ore names beginning ore, ingot, dust or nugget Gold ingot
item_filter_plant Plantable/growable items or blocks Sapling
item_filter_smelt Items with furnace results Furnace
item_filter_overflow Lower destination first, then forward if unavailable None

Category/whitelist filters are not overflow bypasses. A matching item may wait if the lower inventory rejects it or is full. A clear space below can allow an item to drop into the world; fit chests for contained sorting.

Plan: [input] -> [filter] -> [next]
Elevation: [filter]
                          |
                     [sorted chest]

For overflow, test lower-empty, lower-full and both-full. Count every destination and loose item. Check arrow, samples, capacity and sided insertion before changing the machine. For restart faults, record sample slots and stock before breaking anything.
