Moonfin for Roku builds on the foundation of the official Jellyfin Roku client with targeted UI and UX improvements for the living room. Seerr setup has its own page, see Seerr Setup.
- Unified library support so content from multiple Jellyfin servers plays seamlessly in one app.
- Switch between servers without losing your place.
- Improved server selection logic when the same title exists on more than one server.
Moonfin is the first Roku client with native Jellyseerr and Seerr support. Setup goes through the Moonfin server plugin, see Seerr Setup.
- Browse trending, popular, and recommended movies and shows, filtered by genre, studio, network, or keyword.
- Request content in HD or 4K directly from your Roku, with smart season selection for shows.
- View all your pending, approved, and available requests.
- Optional NSFW content filtering using Jellyseerr and TMDB metadata.
- Authenticate with your Jellyfin login, which saves a permanent local API key.
- Global search includes Jellyseerr results, with rich backdrop images for a cinematic discovery experience.
Requires the Moonfin server plugin, which is also what makes Seerr connectivity possible.
-
