Contributing

Contributions should keep AXIOM useful, local, and understandable from the terminal.

Before changing code

Review:

• README.md
• CONTRIBUTING.md
• Relevant tests and package scripts
• The wiki page for the affected workflow

Engineering principles

• Keep changes focused and observable.
• Preserve interfaces unless a change is intentional.
• Add regression coverage for behaviour changes.
• Keep claims bounded by what the code actually measures.
• Update documentation when a command, route, or release contract changes.

Pull requests

Describe what changed, why it changed, how it was tested, and any known limitations. Keep the terminal-first scope intact; the retired browser control center is not a target for new work.
