@Njaecha Njaecha released this 25 Oct 19:52

Added:

  • Multi-Renderer editing: Ctrl+click renderers in the renderers list to edit multiple meshes of the object at the same time.
    • BSE will create a blendshape with the same name on each renderer.
  • Improved mirror control: Configuring the mirror now visually shows you the mirror-plane which you can configure using three options:
    • A) Using a move and rotate gizmo
    • B) Setting it based on the root location and translation of a renderer or the object you're editing
    • C) Setting it to the midpoint of two vertices of your choice, so that the plane mirrors one onto the other.
  • Added the ability to completely disable the gizmo but simply hitting the current gizmo-mode (move/rotate/scale) again.
  • The mesh-highlight will now also highlight the hovered renderer in the renderer list, together with the selected ones.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue that would break editing of mesh when the game object the that renderer itself sat on was rotated but the mesh had a bind pose unrotating it.
  • Vertices can now be selected through the gizmo in gizmo-mode.

Important:

This requires the new v2.0 of BlendShapeCreator

v0.5.2

v0.5.2 Pre-release

@Njaecha Njaecha released this 23 Aug 21:56

Added:

  • Preview slider synchronization toggle: This toggle shows up when editing an existing BlendShape and syncs the preview slider with any game or plugin slider that would set the value of the BlendShape normally, so that you can use the game's own controls for getting a feel of your changes in while in the editor. By @deadshark3d
  • Overlay hide toggle: added a small toggle between the Vertex-Dot and Wireframe culling mode switches that disables both completely. This button also has a configurable shortcut key (default: [space]).

Changelog Update 0.5.0

New

  • Upgraded to BSC's new API for registering BlendShapes.
  • New feature: Edit BlendShapes
    • Renderer's that already have BlendShapes have an new indicator in the list.
    • Selecting on of them will reveal a new menu at the bottom where you can choose an preexisting BlendShape to edit.
    • The deltas for the chosen BlendShape will be imported as a layer into the editor. You can edit on top of this edit or remove it and create your own edits.
    • The deformation state that you seen when you click bake will become the new 100% state of the BlendShape you opened.
  • A new slider to "preview" the edits you made without affecting the layers of the deformation when baking was introduced.
  • A new toggle to enable/disable normal recalculation was introduced.
    • Previously normals would always have been recalculated for the affected vertices. This caused problem on some meshes like the face.
  • A new mode for the wireframe was introduced to hide it everywhere except where you are editing. (Similar to the interact only mode for the vertex dots)

New v0.5.1

  • "Hide" button (H) on the layers that hides the layer without affecting its weight or its contribution to baking like the preview slider.

Updated/Improved

  • Minor UI improvements.

This requires the new v2.0 of BlendShapeCreator

@Njaecha Njaecha released this 18 Aug 21:34

Fixed:

  • Fixed a UI draw error when switching outfits or otherwise making a renderer unavailable that had blendshapes while the UI is open.
  • Fixed the order or wireframe display modes to be the same as the vertex dots: All -> Backface Culling -> Interact Only
  • The through-selection of the box selection in gizmo mode is now dependent on the culling mode of the vertex dots rather than the wireframe.
  • The list of layers now dynamically adjusts its height to the available space rather than having a fixed height.

Added:

  • In addition to the "preview" slider there is also a "Hide" button (H) on the layers now that hides the layer without affecting its weight or its contribution to baking.

@Njaecha Njaecha released this 08 Aug 21:17

Updated/Fixed:

  • Fixed a bug in Sunshine that caused created Blendshapes not having the same shape as in BSE on vanilla clothing items.
    • This bug did not exist in KK.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Blendshapes to revert to zero when switching outfits when not opening and sliding the weight slider in BSC.
  • Fixed that the plugin would not load with custom updated version of MaterialEditor like TomTom's UI update.
    • If it cannot hook ME, the "ME-Connect" feature will simple be unavailable.
  • There will no longer be a brush drawn on the model before adding a layer.
  • Fixed a bug that caused ME-Connect mode in Maker to add it's renderers to the list rather than properly refreshing the list.
  • Updated the main window so that it uses more space to display the renderer list before entering edit mode.

New

  • Added a Sidebar Toggle in Maker
  • Added a "Refresh" button to the renderer list so that it's easier to refresh list when switching outfits etc.

@Njaecha Njaecha released this 25 Jun 20:41

Fixed

  • Fixed bug related to the disabling of the animator on p_cf_body_bones, which I thought was needed to fix the T-Pose Bug when FK is enabled, however this seems to not be the case.
    • This fixes the "helicopter heels" (which is a bug in Stiletto when disabling said animator, and can be caused without BSE by doing said thing).
    • As a sideeffect of the animator no longer being disabled, animations can now play during edit-mode. I recommend setting the animation speed to zero in studio, and using the "AnimatePose" toggle in Maker to stop the character from breathing or otherwise slightly moving in animations other than T-Pose.

BlendShapeEditor Prerelease v0.3.1

Pre-release

@Njaecha Njaecha released this 13 Jun 23:28

Fixed

  • T-Pose Bug: The mesh no longer reverts to the current animation-pose when entering edit mode on a character while the character is posed with IK/FK.
  • Edit mode will be correctly exited when deleting an object in Studio while it is being edited.
  • It is no longer possible to bake to blend-shape when a blend-shape with the entered name already exists on the mesh.
  • A bug was fixed that caused the game to freeze and hand on some meshes. By @rnetiks

Improved

  • Separate Baking: It is now possible to bake each layer into an individual blend-shape. The name of the blend-shape will be the entered name + the layer-name. [Enabled by default]
  • A new display-mode for the vertex dots was added which only displays the dots currently being interacted, to reduce visual clutter on high-poly meshes.
  • The size of the vertex dots can now be changed in the plugin settings.
  • A new setting was added that toggles if sliding the weight slider of an layer should create undo-entries. [Disabled by default]

Fixed over 0.3.0

  • Fixed a bug that made the plugin crash out in maker.
