Dashboard

The Dashboard is the main Ray5 Pilot page. It is where you monitor the Ray5, control jobs, use the camera, manage files, run timelapse, and use manual controls.

Open it at:

http://127.0.0.1:5050

Dashboard sections

  • Timelapse — start/stop timelapse, view saved videos, recover frame sessions.
  • Status — live Ray5 state, position, laser, pump, connection, system check, update status.
  • Video / Camera — camera stream, overlay snapshots, camera test, calibration, popout video.
  • Manual Controls — jog, home, center, air assist, pause, resume, stop, unlock, test fire.
  • Imported Jobs — import local G-code files, upload, frame, run.
  • SD Card Files — list, refresh, start, frame, download, delete Ray5 SD files.
  • Live Console — read console log and optionally send manual commands.

Normal use flow

  1. Check Status first.
  2. Confirm the machine is idle or in the expected state.
  3. Use Imported Jobs or SD Card Files to select a job.
  4. Frame the job.
  5. Start only when the bed is clear, material is positioned, and safety is ready.
  6. Watch Status, camera, and the machine while it runs.
